Sheep

Do you know that there are about 200 references to “sheep” in the Bible? Yup.

This is my favorite Matthew 18:11-13 (New International Version)
12"What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? 13And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off.

We all know someone who has “wandered” away. Today pray for the wanderer….I am.

Gods people are the sheep and this passage is saying that He will not loose ANY, not even one! I love sheep, they are dumb, but kind. Sometimes the shepherd has to break their legs to get them to be obedient, but when He has to do that, He carries them. I love sheep!!! Just sayin (again)

I agree with Glenda and it is a comfort to know that even if they wander he will not lose them. A good post to start our day in prayer with. (*_*) Dee
