Tree skirt: not a blanket!

...the tree skirt is not a blanket! Silly girl.

That was before she tried to eat the maraschino cherry on the Hallmark ornament with the grey squirrel holding it.....I don’t know if I’ll even try putting presents under the tree before Christmas this year because she’ll probably open them all like last year.

It is fun to see the excitement and she chatters non-stop to the ornaments on the tree – imitating the sleeping angels and all. I can hear her saying “Oh” as she points her chubby finger at an ornament as I type this. I’ll savor that for a long time....her wonder and awe.

Christmas through the eyes of children – can’t beat it. More adults need it.

Oh cute. It must be something about those tree skirts. My great grandson was using ours as a cape.

I remember those days with our son (now 23). Your photos have so captured the wonder of Christmas in the sparkle of your little one's eyes. Precious!

Very cute Val, I do not think my son has ever been able to have a normally decorated tree because of his little one's...this year Nathan is four so maybe? :)
